AkarBerkabar

AkarBerkabar is a routine agenda of Enter Nusantara held to listen to stories from local residents affected by environmental conflicts, agrarian conflicts, land disputes and the climate crisis. This agenda is also a forum for discussion and networking with solidarity friends at the grassroots level.

The reality is that we are currently in an emergency situation due to the political economic system controlled by the extractive industry which continues to prioritize the profits of a handful through massive, systematic and structured exploitation of nature, forests, land and oceans which is still being facilitated and facilitated by government policies. The use of dirty energy (especially coal) has actually increased, our forests continue to be eroded, our earth is mined, people are oppressed and our right to life is being taken away.

Ancaman Hilangnya Pulau Pari

Residents of Pari Island are defending their land claimed by PT. Bumi Pari Asri which plans to build a resort, the land dispute conflict that occurred on Pari Island has been going on since 2014 and resulted in several residents being criminalized by the company during the conflict.

The Pari Island Women’s Group, one of the groups defending their living space on Pari Island, defends their land by gardening on land claimed by the company, and optimizing a beach called Rengge Beach to be used as a tourist destination on Pari Island.

Seni Melawan Dari Warga Tambak Bayan

Tambak Bayan is a chinatown in Surabaya. Over time, ongoing conflicts began to occur in Tambak Bayan. The peak was a conflict with the V3 Hotel which was going to build and evict several houses there. In the problem of urban space, the Tambak Bayan Chinatown is a story of history and resistance that was brought together in a solidarity that formed the Tambak Bayan Art Institute.

The Tambak Bayan Art Institute is a collective between residents, communities and students, which then used the central building as a place of resistance by combining art in every resistance. Such as exhibition activities, music concerts, and discussions they held in the building.

Perlawanan penggusuran warga bara-baraya yang tak pernah usai

The land dispute case of Bara-Baraya residents vs Nurdin Dg. Nombong & Kodam XIV Hasanuddin who claimed the residents’ land as occupied land for the TNI-AD dormitory has been going on since 2016. The Kodam party forced to vacate the land without going through a court process.

The disputed land currently controlled by the Defendant/resident of Bara-Baraya is not occupied land/dormitory for the TNI-AD. Moreover, the Defendants/residents of Bara-Baraya are not retired TNI but are just ordinary civilians who mostly work as traders, so they have no legal relationship at all with Kodam XIV Hasanuddin.

kemenangan hasil perlawanan panjang warga dago elos

The conflict over the ongoing land dispute between residents of Kampung Dago Elos, Dago, Coblong, Bandung, West Java against the land owner on behalf of the Müller Family and PT Dago Inti Graha since December 2016. The conflict began with a lawsuit received by Dago Elos residents by the Müller Family who claimed that the 6.3 hectares of land in the area were inherited by them through eigendom rights, ownership rights according to the 1870 Agrarian Law.

After struggling for eight years, Dago Elos residents finally got a glimmer of hope to be able to regain control of their land.

Di Balik Cerita Lahan Nenek Moyang Pundenrejo

The Agrarian Conflict in Pundenrejo occurred from 1973 to 1994 when suddenly the ancestral land of Pundenrejo farmers changed status to Building Use Rights of PT BAPPIPUNDIP.

For 20 years (1999 – 2020), due to the company not cultivating the land properly, Pundenrejo farmers who had a background of ancestral land ownership returned to cultivating the land to meet their economic needs. However, in 2020, PT. LPI/PG Pakis damaged residents’ crops and evicted Pundenrejo farmers, company personnel accompanied by police, TNI, and a group of unknown people.
