On February 3-8, 2025, Enter Nusantara fully supported with high enthusiasm the Bengkel Hijrah Iklim 3.0. This collaboration was carried out with Aktivasia, Purpose, and GreenFaith. This collaboration is a forum that is rich in new perspectives in discussing a just energy transition and green ZISWAF as a climate solution. Before delivering Bengkel Hijrah Iklim 3.0, the team from Enter Nusantara first received facilities from Aktivasia. This lesson helped Enter Nusantara to deliver the material more effectively and interactively in accordance with Islamic methods.
In its 3rd year, this meaningful program focuses on empowering 20 young people aged 23-40, selected from 265 applicants across Indonesia. The aim of the training was to equip the participants with campaigning and organizing skills, all based on the principles of a just energy transition from an Islamic perspective, as well as an introduction to “Sedekah Energi.”

Many of the scholars involved see the impact of the climate crisis as very real, and they need to respond to it as quickly as possible. Many of the scholars emphasized that humans are responsible for protecting the environment as part of their duties as khalifah fil ardhi, the leader or manager of the universe. This is based on verses in the Qur’an such as:
“And do not cause corruption on the earth after (Allah) has repaired it…” (QS. Al-A’raf: 56).
Many of the scholars remind us of the importance of not over-exploiting resources and not polluting the environment, which is detrimental to the surrounding environment and social community.
The Bengkel Hijrah Iklim 3.0 presents various materials from collaborators with an interactive and action-based approach. Tarjihmu and GreenFaith presented the material “Fiqh of Fair Energy Transition,” discussing Islamic aspects in fair and sustainable energy changes. Meanwhile, Purpose delivered material related to “Misinformation, Disinformation, and Malinformation,” equipping participants with critical insights in responding to information about the environment. Aktivasia provided training related to “Organizing and Campaigning,” while Enter Nusantara shared experiences about the implementation of “Sedekah Energi” as a form of contribution to the social-based green movement.

Reka Maharwati from Enter Nusantara provided participants with the material “Sedekah Asik,” which introduced the concept of sedekah energi. The material emphasizes how donations in the form of renewable energy are a solution and real impact for the community in worship.
Participants were also invited to understand and explore the concept of green Ziswaf through creative simulations. In this section, participants were invited to make banknotes titled “Enter Dollar” and establish “Bank BHI” as a roleplay tool. In this session, participants were invited to play various roles with diverse narratives, exploring various green ZISWAF methods that can be utilized as solutions to climate and environmental crises.

The Bengkel Hijrah Iklim 3.0 was a very meaningful experience for Enter Nusantara. This collaboration opened new insights into the importance of community involvement in climate solutions based on sustainability values. Enter Nusantara hopes that the training event can realize a just energy transition and strengthen the green Ziswaf movement in Indonesia.
